After the cancellation of their 2022 World Cup play-off against Russia, Poland have announced a friendly match against Scotland. The match will take place at Hampden Park, kicking off at 19:45 local time on 24th March.
On the same evening that Poland played Russia, Scotland had been scheduled to face Ukraine in their play-off semi-final. Due to the Russian invasion, that has now been postponed until June.
The match against Scotland will be Czesław Michniewicz’s first as Poland coach, after taking charge in January. It will be his only preparation ahead of the following week’s play-off final against either Sweden or Czech Republic.
Ticket details are due to be announced in due course.
