Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza announced the signing of Ukrainian midfielder Artem Polyarus on Tuesday. The 29-year-old arrives from Akhmat Grozny until the end of the season.
Polyarus arrives after the transfer window closed thanks to FIFA’s ruling that foreign players in Russia and Ukraine could search for clubs abroad. Termalica’s opponents this evening, Legia Warsaw, were able to do similar to sign Benjamin Verbič from Dynamo Kyiv.
Prior to arriving at Akhmat, the winger spent time at Russian club FC Khimki, Dynamo-2 Kyiv, and hometown club PFK Oleksandria.
He could make his debut for the bottom-of-the-table Elephants in Friday’s game against Zagłębie Lubin.
