Both the Fortuna 1 Liga and the eWinner II Liga reach their regular season climaxes on Sunday; and although the relegation spots have been confirmed, several teams still stand a chance of promotion – either automatically or through the play offs.
Fortuna 1 Liga:
Automatic promotion:
With Miedź Legnica already up, both Widzew Łódź and Arka Gdynia can join them automatically in the top flight for next season.
WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ will win promotion to the Ekstraklasa IF:
• They win against Podbeskidzie.
• They draw and Arka draw.
• Arka lose.
If none of the above happen, Widzew will play in the play-offs.
ARKA GDYNIA will win promotion to the Ekstraklasa IF:
• They win against Sandecja, and Widzew don’t win.
• They draw with Sandecja and Widzew lose.
If they don’t manage the above, they will play in the play-offs.
Play-offs:
Mathematically, four sides can reach 6th place, and join Korona Kielce, Odra Opole, and either Widzew or Arka in the play-offs.
CHROBRY GŁOGÓW will reach the play-offs if:
• They win against Zagłębie Sosnowiec.
• They draw, and both Sandecja and Podbeskidzie fail to win.
•They lose, Sandecja lose, and both Podbeskidzie and ŁKS fail to win.
SANDECJA NOWY SĄCZ will reach the play-offs if:
• They win against Arka Gdynia, and Chrobry fail to win.
• They draw, Chrobry lose, and both ŁKS and Podbeskidzie fail to win.
PODBESKIDZIE BIELSKO-BIAŁA will reach the play-offs IF:
• They beat Widzew, Sandecja and Chrobry both draw OR both lose.
• They win, Chrobry draw and Sandecja lose.
• They win, Sandecja draw, Chrobry lose, AND ŁKS fail to win by ten goals more than Podbeskidzie win by.
ŁKS ŁÓDŹ will reach the play-offs IF:
• They win against GKS Katowice, Chrobry lose, and Sandecja and Podbeskidzie all fail to win.
or;
• Chrobry lose, Sandecja draw, AND ŁKS beat GKS Katowice by TEN goals more than Podbeskidzie beat Widzew Łódź.
eWinner 2 Liga
Stal Rzeszów and Chojniczanka Chojnice have already earned promotion, while Ruch Chorzów, Motor Mublin and Wigry Suwałki make up three of the four sides in the play-offs. They will be joined by either Lech II Poznań or Radunia Stężyca. Radunia have three points guaranteed on Sunday, due to GKS Bełchatów’s withdrawal from the league.
• LECH II POZNAŃ will reach the play-offs if they beat Stal Rzeszów.
RADUNIA STĘŻYCA will reach the play-offs if Lech II do not win.
The eWinner 2 Liga games kick off at 12:30 CET, whilst the Fortuna 1 Liga games start ten minutes later at 12:40 CET.
