Nina Patalon has named 23 players for her squad to face Argentina and Mexico, in a pair of friendly matches in Jerez, Spain, next month.
After failing to qualify for the World Cup, attention will turn towards Euro 2025 – the tournament which Poland themselves are bidding to host. The pair of friendly matches, coincidentally, are scheduled against two nations which the mens team will face at this winter’s World Cup.
Katarzyna Kiedrzynek again misses out through injury, while reserve keeper Anna Szymańska – who was called into the World Cup qualifiers after further injuries – misses out as Kinga Szemik retakes her position.
Elsewhere, Zofia Buszewska returns to the squad after missing the qualifiers against Albania and Kosovo, while Adriana Achcińska remains on the sidelines due to injury.
Poland will face Mexico on 7 October, before playing against Argentina three days later.
