Polish international joins Bayern Munich!

Polish international attacker Natalia Padilla-Bidas has joined Frauen Bundesliga side Bayern Munich on a three-year deal. The Spanish-born forward joins the German giants from Swiss club Servette FC, abd will be loaned out immediately to 1.FC Koln.

Padilla-Bidas, who has played 21 times for the Poland national team and scored four times, follows in the footsteps of her international teammate Weronika Zawistowska, who spent the last two years in Cologne following her own transfer to Bavaria.

In Servette, Padilla-Bidas has been something of a phenomenon. In 26 games during the 2022/23 season, she netted 26 goals – helping Servette to the Swiss Cup and a runners-up spot in the league.

“Natalia is a talented offensive player who can be used flexibly not only in the center but also on the flanks. She’s tall, fast, agile and has developed a strong instinct in front of goal. Natalia can shoot with both feet and is very good in the air.”

Francisco De Sa Fardilha, Bayern Munich Technical Director for Women’s Soccer

In Cologne, the 20-year-old hotshot will join another Poland colleague – midfielder Adriana Achcińska.
